The concept of Royal Train has been taken from the rulers of the erstwhile princely states, who designed their individual luxurious rail-coaches which were their 'palaces on wheels'. Day 01
Arrive Delhi | Board 'Royal Rajasthan on Wheels' train
Welcome to Delhi, the Grand Capital of India. On arrival at the Delhi Safdarjung railway station, begin your tour of 'Royal Rajasthan on Wheels'. You will experience a warm, traditional welcome before boarding the train, thus beginning the journey of a week-long luxury cruise through fascinating Rajasthan.
Day 02
On to Jaipur | Visit Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort and City Palace
This morning, arrive in Jaipur, one of the most well planned cities of the world of its time. Proceed on a tour of this Pink City, visiting Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and Amber Fort where an elephant ride is available to climb up the hill (on direct payment basis). Later in the afternoon, visit the City Palace Museum and Observatory.
Day 03
On to Jaisalmer | City Tour of Jaisalmer
Today your journey continues into the heart of the Thar Desert, Jaisalmer. In the morning, proceed on a city tour of Jaisalmer, visiting the Nathmalji-Ki-Haveli, Patwon-Ki-Haveli and Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli, fine examples of the stone carver's skill. Later, go shopping for fine Pattu shawls, mirror work, embroidered articles, wooden boxes, trinkets, silver jewellery and curios. In the afternoon, enjoy an exciting camel ride on the sand dunes of Sam (on direct payment basis). The rest of the evening is at leisure.
Day 04
On to Jodhpur | Visit Meherangarh Fort
This morning, arrive in Jodhpur, a city ringed by a high stone wall with seven gates and several bastions; proceed on a sightseeing tour visiting the rock-solid Mehrangarh Fort and the grand palaces within - Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana which are impressive examples of architectural excellence. Thereafter, visit the fort complex, which lies near Jaswant Thada, and a group of royal cenotaphs made of white marble. While in Jodhpur, shop for exquisite handicraft articles including the famous breeches, embroidered shoes, metal curios, and silverware, paintings and tie and dye fabrics. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure in the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels.
Day 05
On to Chittaurgarh via Sawai Madhopur
Today on arrival in Sawai Madhopur, proceed on a visit to the Ranthambhore National Park, wherein the ruins of a 10th century fort lie. This wildlife sanctuary is considered to be the country's best for observing and photographing the activities of the tiger. Later, proceed to Chittaurgarh, while enjoying the view of the colourful countryside passing by in the daylight. In the afternoon, on arrival in Chittaurgarh, proceed on a tour of the Chittaurgarh Fort, known for its history of battles, lost and won. The rest of the evening is at leisure onboard the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels.
Day 06
On to Udaipur | Visit Jag Niwas, Jag Mandir and City Palace
Today continue your journey to Udaipur, the Lake City. Visit the dream-like marble palaces- the Jag Niwas (Lake Palace) and the Jag Mandir, which appear to rise from the blue waters of Lake Pichhola. In the afternoon, proceed to the City Palace.
Day 07
On to Agra via Bharatpur
Early in the morning, on arrival in Bharatpur, pay a visit to the world famous bird sanctuary, Keoladeo Ghana National Park, the nesting place for thousands of Egrets, Siberian Cranes, Migratory Water Fowl and other species of birds. Later, proceed to the romantic city of Agra. On arrival, visit the Agra fort containing the Royal residential palaces, the Halls of Public and private audience and beautiful gardens. In the afternoon, visit the famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, built by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.

Arrive Bengaluru | Board 'The Golden Chariot' train
Welcome to Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India. On arrival at Bengaluru Airport or Bengaluru railway station, begin your tour of 'The Golden Chariot'. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, check out and proceed on a city tour of Bengaluru visiting Tipu's Palace, Bull Temple and Lal Baugh. Late in the evening, you will arrive at Yeshwantpur Station, where you will experience a traditional Indian welcome and will be escorted to your respective cabins onboard The Golden Chariot and depart for Mysore.
Day 02
On to Kabini / Bandipur (80 kms / approx. 3 hour drive)
In the morning drive to Kabini / Bandipur Jungle Resorts. In the afternoon, proceed for a Jungle / Boat Safari. In the evening, enjoy watching a wildlife film at the Jungle Resort.
Day 03
On to Mysore (80 kms / approx. 3 hour drive)
In the morning, check out and depart for Mysore and get back onboard The Golden Chariot. In the evening, proceed on a city tour of Mysore visiting Mysore Palace and Srirangapatnam. Later enjoy a cultural show at the Brindavan Gardens.
Day 04
On to Hassan | Excursion to Belur and Halebid (38 kms / approx.1½ hour drive)
Early in the morning, depart for Hassan. On arrival, proceed on a sight-seeing tour visiting Shravanabelagola, a pilgrim centre for Jains, having the world's tallest monolithic standing statue of Lord Bahubali. (Note: This has a climb of 640 steps to experience the architectural marvel. Only those who can undertake this are advised to do so. Guests unwilling to experience can stay back onboard The Golden Chariot and experience the facilities onboard. Palanquins are available for those who cannot take the climb by themselves. This is available to the passengers at no extra cost). Return to the Golden Chariot. Later in the afternoon, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Belur and Halebid. In the evening, depart for Hospet.
Day 05
On to Hospet
This morning on arrival in Hospet, proceed on a sightseeing tour of Hampi, Virupaksha Temple, Queen's Bath, Elephant Stables and local crafts Bazaar. Later in the afternoon, visit Royal Enclosure, Hazara Rama Temple and Illumination at the Vittala Temple.
Day 06
On to Goa via Badami
Early in the morning depart for Badami. Later, proceed on a sightseeing tour visiting Badami Caves and Pattadakal. In the afternoon, depart for Goa. The rest of the evening is at leisure to relax and enjoy the facilities onboard The Golden Chariot like the spa, gymnasium and other facilities.

In Goa
Today, proceed on a city tour of Goa visiting the famous churches of Old Goa, Sola Souto Maior (an Old Portuguese house). In the afternoon, visit Sahakari Spice Plantation, Ponda for a tour of the spice farm. Later, proceed to Utorda Beach. In the night, depart for Bengaluru.

On to Kolhapur
This morning, on arrival at Kolhapur railway station, proceed on a city tour of Kolhapur visiting New Palace, the museum, Bhawani Mandap, Mahalaxmi Temple and Shalini Palace - where you can view martial arts and cultural programme and visit the handicraft stalls. Depart for Daulatabad via Pune.
Day 05
On to Daulatabad | On to Aurangabad (12 kms / approx. 20 minute drive)
Today, on arrival in Daulatabad, proceed on a local sightseeing tour visiting Daulatabad Fort and Ellora Caves - a world heritage site. Later depart for Aurangabad (by coach). On arrival, visit Bibi-Ka-Maqbara followed by shopping in the local market. Return to 'The Deccan Odyssey', and depart for Chandrapur (via Nanded).
Day 06
On to Chandrapur
On arrival in Chandrapur, proceed to Tadoba National Park (by jeep). Later, depart for Wardha. On arrival, visit Mahatma Gandhi's Ashram at Sevagram. Return to Deccan Odyssey and depart for Bhusawal.
Day 07
On to Ajanta Caves | On to Nasik
Arrive at Bhusawal railway station and visit the Ajanta Caves - a World Heritage Monument. Return to Deccan Odyssey at Jalgaon railway station and depart for Nasik. On arrival, proceed to on a sightseeing tour of Panchwati ghats and ancient temples. Return to the Deccan Odyssey at Deolali railway station.

Arrive At Delhi & Board into Palace on Wheels
Delhi you will be treated like Maharaja & Maharani on welcome by garlanding, Tikka and turban with glass of wine. The Capital city of modern India a city known for its rich valorous and exotic history. Once the fabled city of the heroes of the Mahabharata and ruled by the Rajputs before they were displaced by foreign invaders. The tour starts in the evening with a ceremonial welcome aboard the Palace on Wheels at Safdarjung New Delhi. You will be introduced to your fellow travellers. Feel free to explore your new palace, and acquaint yourself with its various facilities. Relax with a drink at the bar. Dinner will be served on board in its two restaurants.

Arrive Jaipur
Jaipur Your tour began at the Hawa Mahal Palace of wind followed the amazing Jantar Mantar-Astronomical Observatory are to be explored at leisure. The home of the erstwhile rulers. The city palace now a museum of full royal splendor. Jaipur also offers a great shopping experience since the city is the countries capital as far as handicrafts are concerned. This include a very extensive range as well as a major International center of cutting and polishing of Gems and stone. Also the Jaipur is known all over the world for hand block printing on textile. Lunch at Amber Fort. Soon after reaching at Amber you can enjoy the festively decorated elephant for a ride up to the fort. After lunch visit of Amber fort the best example of splendid fusion of Rajput and Mugal style of Architecture. The hall of victory Jai Mandir has a stunning ceiling adorned with mirror work an inlaid panel.
