In 1584, only 14 years after moving here, Akbar abandoned this short-lived capital because of shortage of water. Upon arrival at Agra, visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor, Shahjehan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.

On to Corbett (125 kms. / approx. 4 hour drive)

This morning your journey continues to the wild tropical jungles to Corbett. On arrival, check into your hotel. Later, enjoy a jeep safari to spot a variety of wildlife. (The park is open from 15th November to 15th June)
Day 06    
On to Mussoorie (287 kms. / approx. 7 hour drive)

Embark on a drive to the picturesque town of Mussoorie, spread along a horseshoe shaped ridge overlooking the Doon Valley. On arrival, you will check into your hotel. The evening is at leisure.

In Mussoorie

The day is free for you to explore Mussoorie's numerous attractions or you may take an excursion to Kempty Falls which is a popular picnic spot.

On to Delhi (270 kms. / approx. 7 hour drive) Return home with happy memories
