The day is at leisure to admire the beauty of this quiet place. One can enjoy a pony ride to nearby places like Chandanwari (ponies can be hired directly) or simply walk along the river, Lidder.

This morning, you will proceed on a visit to the ancient capital of the Kachwaha Rajputs, Amer Fort. (Elephant ride or Jeep ride on direct payment basis). Once on top, you can stroll through the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls. Many of the rooms have delightful wall paintings with precious stones and mirrors inlaid in the walls. Most fascinating, perhaps, is the Sheesh Mahal ('Palace of Mirrors') where a single lamp light is reflected in the many mirrors, lighting up the entire room. Enroute to Jaipur, enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal - the palace of winds, an elaborate facade behind which the ladies of the court used to watch the daily goings on the street below. Later this afternoon, you will visit the City Palace and Jantar- Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II.
Day 04    
On to Agra (220 kms / approx. 6 hour drive)

Today the journey continues to another historical and romantic city, Agra. Enroute, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city and once the capital of the Mughal Emperor, Akbar in the late 16th century. In 1584, only 14 years after moving here, Akbar abandoned this short-lived capital because of shortage of water. Upon arrival at Agra, visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor, Shahjehan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains.
Day 05    
On to Gwalior (120 kms / approx. 3 hour drive)

In the morning, visit the Agra Fort containing the royal residential palaces, the Halls of Public & Private Audience and the beautiful gardens. Later, drive to Gwalior. Today, you will visit the sprawling City Palace complex along the shores of the Lake Pichola. Visit the exotic palaces and pleasure gardens. Continue to the Saheliyon ki Badi - the Garden of the Maids of Honour for the Royal Ladies of Mewar. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure or you may enjoy a boat ride on the picturesque Lake Pichola (on direct payment basis), cruising past the spectacular City Palace, Jag Mandir Island and the famous Jag Niwas Island.

Welcome to Delhi - the grand capital of India. On arrival at Delhi airport or Delhi railway station, begin your tour of 'Splendours of Uttarakhand'. Proceed on a picturesque drive to the charming hill station of Nainital. On arrival, check into your hotel. The evening is at leisure.
Day 02    
In Nainital

This morning, enjoy an excursion to the lakes which includes Sat Tal, a group of seven lakes including the famous jade green Garud Lake, the larger Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal. Rest of the evening, enjoy a stroll on the Mall road and shop for the famous wax candles or you can enjoy a boat ride on Naini Lake (on direct payment basis).
Day 03    
In Nainital

Today, you will proceed on a local tour of Nainital visiting the Naina Devi Temple and Hanuman Garhi. Rest of the day is free to enjoy a boat ride on the Naini Lake (boats can be hired directly) or take the rope way to enjoy the best view of snow capped peaks (on direct payment basis).
Day 04    
On to Ranikhet (80 kms. / approx. 3 hour drive)

Today, you will drive to the popular hill station of Ranikhet. On arrival, check into your hotel. This afternoon, explore the temples and the wonderful sights in Ranikhet such as 9-hole golf course at Upat, a Government Fruit Garden and Research Station at Chaubatia and the fascinating temples in Dwarahat.
Day 05    
On to Corbett (125 kms. / approx. 4 hour drive)

This morning your journey continues to the wild tropical jungles to Corbett. On arrival, check into your hotel. Later, enjoy a jeep safari to spot a variety of wildlife. (The park is open from 15th November to 15th June)
Day 06    
On to Mussoorie (287 kms. / approx. 7 hour drive)

Embark on a drive to the picturesque town of Mussoorie, spread along a horseshoe shaped ridge overlooking the Doon Valley. On arrival, you will check into your hotel. The evening is at leisure.
Day 07    
In Mussoorie

The day is free for you to explore Mussoorie's numerous attractions or you may take an excursion to Kempty Falls which is a popular picnic spot.
Day 08    
On to Delhi (270 kms. / approx. 7 hour drive) Return home with happy memories
