Day 01
Arrive Gwalior
Welcome to Gwalior, the city of true royals. On arrival at Gwalior airport or Gwalior railway station, begin your tour of 'Heritage of Madhya Pradesh'. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon enjoy a half day city tour visiting the massive sandstone fort doting the city skyline, the 9th century Teli Ka Mandir and the 11h century Sas Bahu ka Mandir. In the evening witness the spectacular sound and light show (entry on direct payment basis) where the history of Gwalior and its warriors is narrated.
Day 02
On to Orcha (235 kms / approx. 5 hour drive)
Leave in the morning for Orchha. Enroute visit the Phool Bagh, Dinman Herdaul's Palace, Sunder Mahal and the cenotaphs built in the memory of the rulers of Orchha. On arrival, check into your hotel. Later, visit Jehangir Mahal built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo, Raj Mahal and Chaturbhuj temple. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this beautiful village.
Day 03
On to Khajuraho (178 kms / approx. 5 hour drive)
Early morning, drive to Khajuraho. On arrival, check into your hotel. In the afternoon proceed on a temple tour visiting the Kandariya Mahadeo Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The others temples of interest are Chausath Yogini, Chitragupta etc. each with its own history and presiding deity. In the evening witness the spectacular sound and light show (entry on direct payment basis).
Day 04
In Khajuraho | Excursion to Panna National Park (60 kms / approx. 2 hour drive)
Today proceed to Panna National Park near the Ken River with its deep gorges, tranquil valley and dense teak forests. If you are lucky, you could sight tigers and panthers along with herds of chinkara, sambar and several other wildlife species. The spectacular Pandav falls en route and other waterfalls in the area are popular picnic spots. The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore the local shops and market.
Day 05
Depart Khajuraho OR On to Jhansi railway station (180 kms / approx. 5 hour drive) | Return home with happy memories

This morning, visit Kanger Valley National Park, a paradise for nature lovers. Major wildlife of the park are the wild cat, chital, sambar, barking deer, jackals, langurs, pythons, cobra, crocodiles, monitor lizards and snakes to name a few. Also visit the enchanting Tiratgarh Waterfalls and Kutumsar Caves which has stalactites and stalagmites in fantastic formations.

On to Kanker (235 kms / approx. 6 hour drive)
Early morning you will drive to Kanker. Enroute visit Baligaonpara and the surrounding villages of Muria tribes and the iron and dhokra craft villages near Kondagaon. On arrival in Kanker, you will check in to your hotel. The evening is at leisure or you can visit the local bazaar - the 'haat'.
Day 05
On to Kawardha (280 kms / approx. 7 hour drive)
Early in the morning, begin your drive to Kawardha. En route is the temple city of Rajim where you will visit the Rajiv Loachan Temple and the Someshwar Temple. Later proceed to Kawardha via Raipur. On arrival at Kawardha you will check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

In Kawardha | Excursion to Bhoramdeo Temple (50 kms / approx. 2 hour drive)
Today, you will visit the 11th century AD Bhoramdeo Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and known for its exquisite stone carvings, religious, erotic sculptures and illustrations of local deities. Also visit the Madwa Mahal, the memorial of the marriage of Nagwanshi King and Haihawanshi Queen.

Leave early morning for Pachmarhi, a lovely hill resort surrounded by low lying rugged hills, ravines, beautiful forests, breathtaking waterfalls and serene pools. Enroute, visit Bhojpur and Bhimbetka Caves - that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. Arrive at Pachmarhi and check into your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

This morning you will visit various places in and around Panchmarhi such as Jata Shankar, Pandava caves, Fairy pool and Dhupgarh Point.
